If you want to express your deepest sympathy, it is appropriate to send funeral flowers as a compassionate gesture to comfort the family of the deceased. It often is difficult to find the right words for the occasion. In such cases a tasteful arrangement of funeral flowers conveys your compassion. One of the first questions to ask after deciding to send sympathy flowers is where should the flowers go? Many people choose to send flower bouquets to the funeral home or church. However, the house of mourning is also an excellent choice to have the flowers delivered to. If you are late in sending flowers and can not have flowers arrive in time for the first visitation it is still appropriate to send sympathy flowers. You should make sure though that your flower arrangement arrives prior to any additional visitation. If you have not been able to send flowers in time for them to arrive prior to the last visitation you may want send a bouquet of sympathy flowers to the family at their home.
